SYNK builds
a personalization engine

SYNK builds a personalization engine. We started with Korean education. In classrooms in Ulaanbaatar, we saw that every student had different strengths, got stuck in different places, and had different reasons for learning, so we set out to use technology to teach each student in a way that fits them. The engine we built is Atlas.

LAB works on Korean education and personalized learning; SHIFT on AI training, workflow automation, and branding for companies and organizations; PULSE on content, IP, and ad and model video production; and PATH on study and career preparation in Korea for international learners. We are developing the engine by first connecting it to Korean learning games and our learning app. Our goal is to extend the same engine to games, study, work, and consulting so that anyone, from their twenties to their sixties, can use it.

We build all eight engines ourselves

Eight engines share the work, from deciding what is needed to ordering what to learn, recording what you tried, giving explanations and hints, and checking whether the help worked. The same team makes the felt screens, the music, and the sound, so what we tailor to one person can also reach them through what they see and hear.

We don’t guess from age

We adapt to the settings you choose and the results of what you actually tried, not to your age, gender, or nationality. When your goal changes, the next practice and suggestion change with it, and we tell you why we prepared them.

We check whether the help worked

Finishing something is not proof that you improved. We look separately at whether what you did without help got better, whether the suggestions were right, and whether it was comfortable to use. We do not roll out a new method if results get worse for any group, whether people in their 20s or their 60s.

We keep your answers apart from AI’s guesses

Your own answers, what you actually did, and what a teacher observed are kept as originals. Anything AI corrected or inferred is marked separately, so you can check it and correct it.

Built for anyone, built to last

You choose larger text, shorter explanations, and ways to use it without sound, and we refine each step so a first-time user knows what to do next. Free features calculate on your device without going through an AI server, so the service can keep running as more people use it.
